Yesterday afternoon, I've been chilling out with hubby in his car. He was toying with his latest gadget. A better and much improved car sound system. To use his own words, his car is his biatch and my rival! I don't have any misgivings towards such reverence. After all, the car is an inanimate object. That is, when he's not driving it. And when he does it's like a love-making session.
Shoot me! I'd never understand why boys/men love cars so much. Just like men can't understand why women love the color of pink?
Anyway while he was fine-tuning the car system he'd play the CDs I'd made him. One song brought it all back. The good memories. The bad ones. The love.
It still amazes me how some of us associate events, be it a crisis or a happy moment, to a particular song.
Hubby and I got many songs like that.

I hear you! I have a rival too and she's my bf's car! I don't really get it but I guess that's their thing so better not try to understand! Hahahaa!
One day we were driving and I popped out :"If you have to choose between me and your car, what would it be?"
Bf: "Hmmmmmmmm".... long pause...!
Me : "Wateverrrr!" *sulk*
He laughed at me!
I associate a lot of events to songs... good or bad. Sometimes I would cry just listening to a particular song or I would just smile to another song because it brings back memories.
LOL Angele. I get cussed if I shut the car door hard! No banging. I'm not allowed to leave anything back in the car. I'm not allowed to touch the music system.
And many other rules...Grr..
Oh My husband is so not into his car...Thank goodness!! but he is so touchy about his xbox though.....his xbox was "sick" last year for about 2 months it had to be sent to Germany to be repaired..he was in such state!

Seriously though - drving the General Lee is way better than entertaining a chick (women = annoying life sucking beasts) (no offense intended...ok, it was intended LOL)
I've never done it in a car!! LOL...the farthest I reached was at the end of the stick...LOL
