Gardening and Other Projects

Profuse apologies for not commenting on y'all blogs.

I had to say it before I forget.

As you know, I've been working on another project and I'm happy to say it kicked off pretty fast.  So I'm not stopping.

But I wouldn't bore you all with the details.

This morning I was having serious doubts of giving this blog a miss but hubby vehemently objected to it.  And he got me thinking that I can't let all my readers down like that.  So I will keep maintaining it.  Yay!

I'm also looking into starting my own garden.  At the beginning of 2010, I made a promise to myself that this year I will nurture my own garden where I'll grow vegetables! It excites me when I think about playing with soil and toying with gardening tools.  LOL

Then maybe later on I'll even have flowers.

I already found the spot and all I need now is soil.  Rich soil.  For that I need to call upon my brother in-law's help.

Any other tips you might have on gardening send them my way! ;)

Also, hubby is contemplating on starting a new project of his and he'll need my assistance.  Of course I'll keep y'all in the loop. *high five*

Wish us luck!

There is a lot of satisfaction in growing your own vegetables. It almost guarantees some healthy eating too.

Growing your own food is probably the most rewarding thing one can do. Wish i had the space! Living in the urban metropolis that is London, green space is hard to come by.

I've heard that self-composting is quite handy! saves you money + you're doing the planet some good by recycling! (Google will have a few guides on this)
